Data controller: Velorix SL (trading as “Relocation Centers”) · CIF B88770201 · Calle Navas 25, 03001 Alicante, Spain · info@relocationcenters.com
This policy explains what personal data Velorix SL collects when you contact us or use relocationcenters.com, why we collect it, the legal basis for processing it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data-protection law (LOPDGDD).
1. Data we collect
- Data you give us when you contact us through our website forms, WhatsApp, email or phone: your name, email address, phone number, the language you prefer and any details of your relocation enquiry you choose to share.
- Technical data collected automatically when you browse the site: IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited, via cookies and similar technologies (see section 8).
2. Why we use your data and the legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and give you information about our services — based on your consent and on steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To provide the relocation services you contract (NIE, visas, property search, banking, schools, Rent-to-Buy, etc.) — based on performance of our contract with you.
- To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations — based on compliance with a legal obligation.
- To improve our website and measure traffic — based on your consent (analytics cookies) and our legitimate interest.
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. To deliver an end-to-end relocation service we may share the data strictly necessary with vetted partners acting on your behalf — for example partner law firms, gestorías, banks, schools or removal companies — and only to carry out the service you have requested. We also use trusted service providers (for example hosting, email and messaging tools) that process data on our instructions under a data-processing agreement.
4. International transfers
Your data is primarily processed within the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your request and, if you become a client, for the duration of our relationship plus the periods required by law (in particular accounting and tax records, generally up to six years). After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@relocationcenters.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
8. Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies needed for the site to work and to remember your language preference. These do not require consent.
- Analytics and marketing cookies (for example Google and Meta tools) that help us understand how the site is used and measure our campaigns. These are only set with your consent and can be disabled at any time from your browser settings.
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version.
