Questions before you contact us?

Can I get my fingerprints taken in Alicante?
Yes. We take FBI-compliant FD-258 fingerprints at our office, Calle Navas 25, Alicante, by appointment. No trip to a US consulate or to the United States is needed.
Do I have to mail fingerprint cards to the US?
No. Your prints are transmitted digitally to the FBI through Tu Apostilla's US channel, which is faster and avoids lost or rejected cards.
How long does the whole process take?
According to Tu Apostilla, digital submissions are usually processed by the FBI within a few business days and the apostilled originals are delivered in 10 days or less, so the full fingerprints-to-apostille process can take as little as three weeks. Immigration deadlines are strict — start as soon as your office asks for the document.
Why does my FBI report need an apostille?
Spain is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention: a foreign public document is only recognised by Spanish authorities once it carries an apostille from the issuing country — for an FBI report, the US Department of State.
Will I need a sworn translation?
Often yes: most immigration offices and registries ask for a traducción jurada into Spanish. Tu Apostilla's translations are done by MAEC-authorised sworn translators and are valid before all Spanish public bodies. If you are not sure, tell us which office asked for the document and we'll check with you.
Who provides and bills each part of the service?
The fingerprint capture is done by Relocation Centers (Velorix SL) in Alicante. The FBI report, the US apostille, the sworn translation and the shipping are provided and billed in US dollars by our partner Tu Apostilla (Borderless Business LLC, USA). We coordinate your file and receive a referral commission from Tu Apostilla; you pay the same prices as on tuapostilla.org.
What happens to my fingerprint data?
Fingerprints are biometric data, a special category under the GDPR. We capture them only with your explicit written consent, transmit them encrypted to Tu Apostilla for submission to the FBI in the United States, and delete them from our capture device once transmitted. The transfer to the US is part of Tu Apostilla's own biometric-data consent on its order form. You can withdraw your consent at any time, which may prevent the check from being completed. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Can you send the apostilled report to my lawyer or gestoría?
Yes. Tu Apostilla ships anywhere in Spain — to your home, your immigration lawyer, your employer, your gestoría or a consulate. And yes, you can start the process while already living in Spain: that is exactly who this service is for.
